RVing To The Made in America Music Festival

Raise The Roof At the Made in America Music Festival

Held in Philadelphia from September 4 to September 5, Friday and Saturday respectively, the Made in America Music Festival continues the trend of cementing the names of the best and most prolific American rappers. Among the talent lineup, you will see top modern rappers, and more information on what the Made In America Music Festival lineup will be can be found here as well as online tickets!

While the exact lineup has yet to be determined, the years prior featured top artists such as Cardi B, Lizzo, and Travis Scott. Check the Made In America Music Festival Website for updates.

Visit Philadelphia / Westchester KOA

Located less than an hour away from the Made In America Music Festival Venue, this scenic lodging area boasts cozy lodges along the Brandywine River. From this location, it is a quick drive to Lancaster’s Pennsylvania Dutch Country and Longwood Gardens, Winterthur Museum and Country Estate, Nemours Mansion and Garden, and more.

You can go fishing at the venue or from your camping site, and the summers typically hold live entertainment. There is also a pristine swimming pool, and a multitude of nearby restaurants, leaving this KOA with high ratings across the board!

Visiting the Iconic City!

See the classic sites of the city, such as the Liberty Bell or Independence Hall, visit one of many museums on Benjamin Franklin Parkway, gaze upon numerous water front locations and, of course, try a Philly cheesesteak sandwich on your way to the festival!

A city that has roots in the very origins of America, Philadelphia contains a multitude of remnants from the past blended beautifully together with more modern art, such as the iconic Rocky statue, or repainted “LOVE” sculpture.

When you stroll down the lovely, historic city pathways, it will be difficult not to find slews of interesting shops, restaurants, and lounging areas designed to accommodate the higher tastes of touristy visitors.

At one point, Philadelphia’s City Hall was the tallest building in America, and from many angles, you can see the proud building majestically watching over the city in the Greater Philadelphia area.

The waterfront views are home to many boat houses and classic sailboats, lending an ethereally quaint ambience to the location.

It will likely take more than one day to capture a true fraction of the city in all of its splendor, so if you plan to take this route (and we highly recommend that you do!), camping nearby for some R&R overnight, or even over two nights, will give you the daytime energy necessary to make the tourist aspect of visiting the festival truly memorable!

Most Americans Will Likely Cross Over Ohio!

Depending on which area you are coming in from, it is likely that you will pass by many of Ohio’s main attractions. While by no means is this list exhaustive, here are a couple of sites you may not want to pass up on the way!

Cedar Point, any coaster lover’s dream park, noted for having notoriously high attractions, this amusement park is located near Sandusky, and sits near Lake Erie. It also sits adjacent to a water park, for those who prefer some splashes with their rides!

It is spacious, thrilling, and a fantastic place to grasp just how expansive and colorful the various fauna of our planet truly are.

The Cincinnati Museum contains over 1.8 million artifacts in a sectored museum setting within Union Terminal. Depending on the age-range and tastes of your party, you can pick from the History Museum, the Duke Energy Children’s Museum, the Cincinnati Library of History and Archives, and so on…

Southeast Americans Will Likely Pass Through The State of Maryland

For those of you coming from anywhere Southeast of Ohio to the Made In America Music Festival, you will likely pass through Maryland on your way to Pennsylvania. A very quaint state, Maryland is mixed with historical American sites as well as modern fixtures that will enthrall most any visitor.

In historic Baltimore, you can visit the National Aquarium, fixed with marine life from across the globe, and featuring a five-story rainforest exhibit, which outlines the flora and fauna strata of the natural tropical rainforest. This is one of the most noted aquariums in the nation and pulls in masses of visitors each year with its splendid exhibits.

The American Visionary Art Museum hosts a variety of new-age think pieces and art made by those of all walks of life. The main all exhibits are continuously in flux, changing around pieces, and giving a platform for many a burgeoning artist. The works come in many different mediums, a testament to human perseverance and abstract reasoning. This museum is a must see for those who enjoy the ambience of high culture from various sources, both historical and modern!

The Walters Art Museum is geared exclusively towards historical art, working with traditional mediums and art forms in more recent history. This museum focuses on works from Byzantine, Greek, Roman, and Egyptian sources, and caps the artwork off at the Renaissance period. It is a good landing site for history buffs and those who wish to expand their view of art.

For Those Coming in From the North, Visit New York Attractions!

Sitting right on top of Pennsylvania, we have New York! This bustling state is filled with many historic attractions, and it would be a shame to miss some of the more classic highlights that the state has to offer!

The Statue of Liberty is located on Ellis island and is one of America’s top tourist attractions nationwide. You may enter the base, and with special permissions even walk up into the crown. At 152ft tall, this statue is the tallest in America, and one of the tallest in the world. This historical landmark cannot be missed on your way to the festival, for anybody traveling south!

Containing Central Park Zoo, Strawberry Fields, Belvedere Castle, and more, Central Park is featured in many a film as one of New York’s top attractions due to its beauty and size. There are many charming areas and activities in Central Park each year, but even a simple stroll puts this historic park on the list of places you don’t want to miss out on!

The very origins of many an actor or actresses career, Broadway still shines as a modern beacon of American prestige in all things theater.
