RV Campgrounds Near Sedona
Manzanita Campground
The first stop on our list is only available for campervans to use— no other type of RV. This is due to the nature of the campgrounds being so small; only 18 campsites are available. However, we couldn’t not include it because of how special the experience can be for people that stay here.
Staying at Manzanita Campground is to truly embrace the Southwestern outdoors. The campground has direct access to the gorgeous creek behind it for fishing and swimming. There are numerous trails nearby for hiking and observing the wildlife in the area, plus more spots to swim in further away from camp.
The location of Manzanita is another reason why it’s enduringly popular. A five minute drive north puts you at Slide Rock State Park, one of the most popular natural features in Sedona. North Wilson Trailhead is just to the south, and Sterling Pass Trailhead is right outside the grounds themselves!
Because of the limited number of sites available and the popularity of the camp, you may have to book your spot upwards of a year in advance.

Pine Flat Campground
Furthest north on our list of RV campgrounds near Sonda is Pine Flat Campground. This public campground has a moderate number of spaces available at around 59 sites, but because no audio is allowed in the park, it has the perfectly tranquil atmosphere of a smaller venue. Pine Flat is very popular not only for this reason, but for its location.
Campsites at Pine Flat are nestled amongst the trees at the base of Oak Creek Canyon. The gorgeous scenery includes the nearby walls of the canyon itself, and Oak Creek which runs along the western side of the grounds. With direct access to the water, you’ll be able to enjoy trout fishing, swimming, and birding all without having to leave your camp.
Each campsite comes with a picnic table and a fire ring/grill. Restrooms are available for use, but no showers. Pets are allowed on the grounds.
Because the roads within Pine Flat are on the narrow side, we recommend visiting with a smaller RV/trailer— or an experienced RV driver.

The woodland setting offers plenty of cover from the Arizona sun, with Oak Creek running alongside the camp to keep you cool. Oak Creek Canyon Natural Area is just south of the grounds, and Harding Spring Trailhead is just north.

Munds Park also offers many high end luxuries in an RV resort. At camp, you’ll find a swimming pool and jacuzzi, general store, laundry facilities, playground, and dog park. The park is within walking distance to numerous restaurants and bars for nightlife as well.
