NASCAR Lovers RV Camping Experience At Phoenix Raceway

There’s no doubt Michael Waltrip loves to drive. In fact, any fan would know that he’s won the Daytona 500 twice, but — in his free time — he doesn’t often find himself behind the wheel of a racecar. Instead, when it comes to RV rentals and travel, Waltrip endorses RVnGO as the best rental option he has found. Make a weekend Race into a week of NASCAR Excitement when you get an RV Rental and spend a week at the track with fellow RVers and Race fans.

Spend A Week At The Track

If you haven’t heard by now, RVnGO is the official RV Rental Platform for several NASCAR Race Tracks.

  • Phoenix Raceway
  • Auto Club Speedway Fontana
  • Kansas Speedway
  • Martinsville Speedway
  • Talladega Superspeedway

Before the race, 1,000s of RVs descend upon the track to spend 5 days camping at the track and participating in the festivities and pre-race activities that are fun for the entire family. It all starts with the Official RVnGO Move-In Day.

Then once your RV is parked and you’re settled, the fun begins. Meet new RVing friends and mingle with the friends you made from the previous races. Take part in the Pedal party, live entertainment and games, shop at the zoomtown market. Attend the Mid-Week Mixer and much more.

Each track has their own pre-race ramp up activities but they are all a load of fun and more importantly, they have the RVnGO-GO area where the ambassadors of RVnGO treat the guests to food and beverages, and great conversations. Learn more about RVnGO and why more RV owners are using them to rent out their RVs when not in use and why more renters are using them for renting an RV for vacations, road trips, NASCAR races, INDY car races and Music Festivals. Visitors of the RVnGO-GO area will also have an opportunity to donate to NASCAR Charities.

Camp out and stay close to the action of the race in an RV rental for every race at Phoenix Raceway.

Know The Important Info For Camping At Phoenix Raceway

To keep the square mile of RVs a safe and fun environment for all of the race fans, here is some important information to keep in mind. Quiet hours are from 12AM – 6AM. Nobody likes noisy neighbors. Please be courteous to your fellow RV campers and keep music/talking to a level only heard in your RV site as to not disturb other guests. Remember that not everyone is a fan of the same music as you, and even if they are, they may not want to hear it at the time so with that said, speakers must be maintained at a reasonable level and facing inward toward your camping space. Generators & speakers must be turned off during quiet hours. A great alternative to the loud generators is Joule Case portable, stackable power. They provide sustainable, mobile power systems without the use of fossil fuels, perfect for all of your RVing, camping and live events.

While moving around the campground, you will see Phoenix Raceway Campground Hosts. They are on site to answer your questions while at the track. You can find them at GEICO Gecko Trails, GEICO Gecko Flats, GEICO Gecko Dunes North and South, and Sunset campgrounds. If they can’t help you or you are at the track, you will find Guest Services Information Booths located in the Midway just inside Gate 3, on level 3 of the grandstands behind Sections 117 and 148, as w well as in the FanShield Infield Experience.

Rely On RVnGO For Support Of Your RV Rental

RVnGO will have a booth in the Midway and a camping area, so you will be able to find an Ambassador from RVnGO at either of these 2 locations for assistance with your RV rental. For most race tracks where RVnGO is the official RV Rental Platform, the first 20 guests to rent an RV for the race will receive a free camping spot. RVnGO also holds a raffle with the winner receiving a camping spot and a free RV rental for the week of the race and a ticket to the Suite and pit passes. That RV will be delivered to the track. For the 21 lucky RVers, you will go to the Phoenix Raceway Offices at 125 S. Avondale Blvd., Suite 200, Avondale, AZ 85323 to get the details of where to go for the camping spot, etc.

For the raffle winner, you will receive the contact information of the Host who supplied the RV and provide a walkthrough of the unit and how to operate it. If you need anything related to the RV Rental, contact the Host and the on-site RVnGO staff if necessary for assistance.

RVnGO Where Will You Go?

Have A Fantastic Time At The Phoenix Raceway

For NASCAR fans who have experienced the thrill of race day and the week leading up to it, there is no need for explanation. For those who are new to NASCAR or Phoenix Raceway or passive race fans, let me share the words from many RVing NASCAR fans that there is no better way to experience a NASCAR race than camping at the track in an RV and participating in the pre-race activities. These races last a few hours. The lines to the concessions and restrooms can be long too, for those who aren’t there with an RV stocked with food and beverage and a clean, private restroom.

PS – Follow These Steps At The Next NASCAR Race

You don’t have to invest in an RV to enjoy a memorable Race Season Trip. Just follow these steps:

  3. Enjoy the race and your RV camping experience at Phoenix Raceway and visit the RVnGO-GO camp area and the booth in the midway for games and prizes.
