RVing and road-tripping certainly doesn’t have to be stressful. In fact, road trips can be a complete luxury. The Tiffin Wayfarer comes with everything you could ever want while camping and are more comparable to high-end hotels than camping. However, there are many RVs on the market, and choosing the best RV to suit you can get a little overwhelming.

This Tiffin Wayfarer review will focus on one of the best RVs available. An RV that combines luxury, accessibility, and comfort all within the coach. A beautiful exterior matched by sleek interior design and excellent features may make this one of the best RVs, but is it right for you? Let’s find out.

Tiffin Has Been Around Since ‘72

The Tiffin Wayfarer Class C RV. Tiffin, the family-based company, has been designing and manufacturing RVs since 1972, and you can safely bet that when you order any products from them, they will be good. Quoting Tiffin – “Building a superior motorhome isn’t just our occupation. It’s a matter of personal pride, a pursuit we have committed our lives to perfecting.”

The Tiffin Wayfarer is no exception. While this diesel coach comes with many different floor plans to determine capacity, it typically sleeps 3-5 people and includes one slide-out, cab-over bunk, an outdoor entertainment system, and amenities that are nothing short of amazing. But we’ll get to that later.

Aluminum wheels and hydraulic leveling mean this rig can tackle all gradients while still providing a level, a place to camp. Despite the various floor plans, The Wayfarer is always 25ft8inches in length and sits on a Mercedes Benz 3500XD dual-wheel cutaway chassis.

The Tiffin Wayfarer Has The Features You Expect

The Wayfarer has some incredible features that position it high up on our list of recommended motorhomes. With designs that have been created with the sole purpose of making your next road trip as easy and enjoyable as possible. So what are these features exactly? First, let’s take a look at the exterior of the coach.

Exterior

Awning with Sensor Trigger – The awning built into the Wayfarer works via a sensor and automatically retracts if strong winds are detected. The 16ft power awning makes for an ideal outdoor space keeping you protected whatever the weather.

Paint – Tiffin offers a variety of paint jobs for this model, including Coastal Mist, Obsidian, Sand Drift, silver sand, harmony, and pebble creek. All the paintwork is sleek and modern, so whichever paint you choose, you know you’ll be looking great and likely the envy of other Rv’ers.

Outdoor Entertainment Center. – Perhaps our favorite exterior feature of the Wayfarer. Speakers from your awning and outdoor TV, create a magical experience, hard to come by anywhere other than with RVs of this caliber. Tiffin’s outdoor entertainment system means you can sit under the starry night sky and indulge in your favorite movies and TV shows at the same time. Pretty awesome, right?

Interior

Drivers Compartment – With the MBUX multimedia touchscreen, Tiffin goes all out when it comes to the cab technology system in this RV, including navigation, smartphone integration for both iPhone and Android, wireless internet, and side cameras. Things don’t stop there though, the Wayfarer also includes safety features such as heated mirrors and auto assistance for attention, braking, high beam, lane, and traffic purposes.

Whatsmore, you don’t even need a key to start this rig, and all these tech features make for an easy, safe, and pleasant journey on any road trip. Even the wipers are rain censored and triggered automatically!

With soft leather seating that can swivel means you have the most comfortable seats available while driving, but when you park up, the driver’s compartment becomes part of your living room.

Electrics – The Spyder Multiplex System includes everything you need to create a surround sound experience and ease of use that isn’t far off what you’d find in your favorite 5-star hotel room. If not better. The coach uses 2 x 12V batteries and pre-wired solar panels, meaning you can go off-grid and truly experience nature but still have everything you need to make it enjoyable.

The Coach also includes a 15K BT A/C unit, meaning you can control your climate easily and the 2000Watt pure sine inverter, meaning you’ll have no problem charging all your gadgets and using your appliances.

Living Room – With beautiful vinyl flooring and leather furnishings, the living room in this coach is a thing of beauty. Throughout the living room, you’ll have a TV, a face-to-face dinette, a sofa with a slide-out, and an overhead cab bunk.

Designed to look great, you’ll even choose what type of cabinetry you want with the Wayfarer. Choose from standard hardwood cabinetry or go for handcrafted to truly make this space special.

When it comes to choice, Tiffin goes a whole lot further than that, though, and not only offer you a wide range of different floor plans but decor choice for:

  • Cabinetry
  • Fabrics
  • Colors
  • Wallcoverings

You can really customize both the interior and exterior of your Wayfarer, and this is just one of the things Tiffin does to make your motorhome experience less motorhome and more like home.

There’s also the possibility of added extras for your convenience, such as wifi boosters, a complete solar setup, and even a built-in vacuum system.

HDTV – In the living area, the HDTV makes this space feel like it comes straight out of your home. Oh, and you’ll have a satellite cable connection too. A stereo system, LED lighting, HDMI/USB ports, and privacy shades, make for a space you can always retreat to and feel comfortable no matter where you travel. Rainy day? No problem, sit back, relax and enjoy this epic living room space.

Kitchen – Lp cooktop, cooktop cover, counter extension, convection microwave, sink, lighting, and 110v outlets make this a kitchen of convenience and allow you to cook almost whatever you want, wherever you want.

Bedroom – The exact bedding configuration will depend on the floor plan you choose with the Wayfarer. As a standard, the Wayfarer comes with a Queen or King bed, with a King that can split into two twins. Perfect if you’ve got friends staying.

Bedrooms also include a TV and pull-out closet. So if it’s hiking, fishing, or simply enjoying the outdoors, you always know at the end of a long day, you can relax, crash out in bed and be comfortable while enjoying your favorite entertainment.

Bathroom – All bathrooms include storage, roof vent fan, custom showerheads, and LED mirrors. While the bathroom is small, it certainly looks great; the design flows beautifully with the rest of the coach.
