A Sense of Community
Overnighting in an RV is easy, especially with all the amenities your home on wheels has. But a common problem with RVing is finding a place to park. RV campgrounds are made for this purpose, but for someone just looking to snooze, they can be expensive and hard to book on moments notice.
When you don’t need a full campground with a reserved space, hookup and added costs what else can you do? There are some common ways to spend the night in an RV like big box store parking lots, but those can be a hassle getting into. Truck and rest stops sound like the next best option but aren’t always the quietest places. With people coming and going at all hours its hard to find sleep.
On this segment of the RVers, Anthony interviews the founders of Boondockers Welcome. This one of a kind site allows you to find a private property the owner has listed to park in. Some hosts require notice beforehand, but for most this is an easy and secure way to find where to sleep for the night! Boondockers Welcome is a unique service because the host and site don’t charge any money! This website is there to bring people closer together, much like RVnGO!
