To mingle with the crowds, bring your RV to Hyannis and go window shopping on Main Street. Newport, Rhode Island
The smallest state in the US was once home to the summer playground for America’s wealthiest families during the Gilded Age. The seaside city of Newport is filled to the brim with historic charm and easygoing character. Like Cape Cod, Memorial Day weekend ushers in summer in Newport— the small city truly comes alive.

Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri
If you’re looking for an all out party for your Memorial Day weekend camping destinations, Lake of the Ozarks is second to none.
The Ozark region straddles the Southern border of Missouri and parts of Northern Arkansas. Densely wooded, there are numerous bodies of water that intersect the Ozarks. However, the famous Lake of the Ozarks is the main attraction. The state park is home to a dozen hiking trails that cross through open meadows and Ozark Caverns, which are open for guided tours.
