About the Ironman Raceway in Indiana
The Raceway is located on the site of a former coal mine and is now a popular spot for both locals and tourists. The racetrack hosts multiple circuits including Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, the Grand National Cross-Country Series, and the ATVMX National Championship.
Ironman National Event and RV Camping Tickets

RV Campgrounds at Ironman Raceway
Ironman Raceway offers on-site camping for our guests Thursday through Sunday. All vehicles on premises overnight must have a camping permit. Employees will direct you to where to park yourself as you arrive. You can decide on the next available space, or the area of your choice. You may not save spots for people who will arrive later.
Camping spaces are no wider than 20’. All tents/awnings must be staked down securely. No campsites, tents, or awnings are permitted within 40’ of the motocross track fence.
Gates close from Midnight to 6 am daily – please plan accordingly. Gate prices also do not change until Midnight. If you arrive before midnight, you will be charged that day’s admission.
Wristbands must be worn at all times. If you leave the facility, you must have your wristband to return.
Campgrounds at the Ironman Raceway include:
- Preferred Trackside Camping
- Insider Camping
- Fan Camping
Preferred Trackside Camping is right next to the track. Insider Camping is within the facility perimeter. Both areas are on asphalt and tend to have more families. Once you are inside the facility, you will not need to go through the ticketing checkpoint to come and go. Fan Camping is outside the facility perimeter and is on grass. Fans will also need to go through the ticketing checkpoint to come and go.

Ironman Raceway RV Campgrounds Rules
No fireworks, glass bottles, kegs, scaffolding, weapons, or firearms. The track is not responsible for the return of confiscated items. Open campfires are not permitted. However, small, contained cooking fires no larger than 20” in diameter are permitted. Pets are fine, but must remain on leash at all times. Pets must stay in the Camping Area and Amateur Pits. No pets in the main fan areas on Saturday or in the Pro Paddock. Fire Extinguishers. All campers/haulers over 20’ should be equipped with a fully functioning fire extinguisher.
