Kids on the Road

Living with kids on the road more common than you might think. Parents Adam and Celine show just how easy it can be when you plan it right. Adam, Celine and their three kids live in a travel trailer attached to an SUV and have spent over a year on the road exploring. They make life easy by spending less time in an RV and more time outside exploring.

They keep their 3 boys busy by adventuring and exploring most days. Adam and Celine plan for success by finding cities with lots of free or cheap activities for the kids to do every day. The family loves visiting science centers, aquariums and historic sites. This way they are having fun while also learning from the world around them.

Because this family is full time RVing, they have found creative ways to roadschool their kids. Celine creates activities and workbooks for them to do, just like a regular school. However Celine has a big piece of advice for road-school parents, which is don’t plan too much. Celine finds the best way to teach her kids is exploring and supporting their love for reading at libraries and bookstores!

Winterproofing your RV

Skirting your RV has never been more efficient! Custom Skirting RV skirts allows you to be more efficient than ever. In the winter months it’s more important than ever to build up protection from the elements in your RV.

The more traditional way of skirting called snap skirting allows for unwanted airflow on the underneath of your RV. The common DIY plywood skirting is expensive, hard to transport and is hard to install without your own heavy duty power tools. The main goal of any RV skirting is to protect the underside of your RV from excess airflow and be easily transportable.

With Custom Skirting, you get the best skirting on the market. Their patented channel system creates a water and windproof barrier while also being easily transportable. This custom RV work is located in South Dakota and lets you stay at their beautiful RV Park for free while they create a custom skirt for your RV.

When you have a quality custom skirt, you not only protect your RV parts from the cold elements but also conserve energy. A custom skirt can save you in electrical, generator, and gas prices when you do it correctly with Custom Skirting.
